XXX Moscow International Peace Marathon 2010    

September 12, 2010

Moscow International Peace Marathon starts on September 12th 2010 on Vasilievsky Spusk of the Red Square. The marathon route runs through the most beautiful and historic places of Moscow: Red Square, Christ the Saviour Cathedral, St. Basil's Cathedral.

The competition includes:

  • The marathon 42 km 195 m
  • The 10 km race
  • The race for disabled people on wheelchairs
  • The 1 Moscow mile race

Participants

The marathon is opened to men and women over 18 years old. The age is determined by the quantity of full years on September 12, 2010
The race of 10 km is opened to all runners over 16 years old and disabled people. Disabled people participate only in 10 km race.
The race of 1 Moscow mile is opened to all runners and the families of runners with children (7-13 years old)

Registration:

Russianmarathons.com has official right to register all participants of the Moscow International Peace Marathon.
Please proceed to the page Moscow Marathon Registration Form and fill the registration form.

The final registration will take place on 9, 10, 11 September at Metro Station "Prospekt Mira", Olympisky prospect, 16, swimming pool at sport complex "Olympisky", entrance 8 from 10 a.m. till 7 p.m. On September, 12, registration will take place at Start village, near Metro station "Kitai-gorod", Moskvoretskaya Embankment, from 7 am till 10 am.

Entry fee:

42 km 195 m race - 40 US dollars
10 km - 20 US dollars
Entry fee must be paid not later then the final registration.



Pasta Party

The traditional charity dinner "Pasta Party" will take place on September, 11, 2010.

Feeding and refreshment:

Refreshment and feeding stations through every 2.5 km at the course and at finish area.

Timekeeping:

Using the electronic equipment (the ChampionChip system) for runners' results registration. Control time of race is 6 hours. All the results will be posted on our site within 10 minutes after the Marathon finish.

Sports attributes:

All finishers of the marathon and the 10 km race receive the commemorative medal, certificate and T-shirt.

Prizes:

At 42 km 195 m race: The first 10 men and 10 women. The first 3 men and 3 women.
At 10 km race: The first 15 men and 15 women. The first 3 men and 3 women in disabled group.
